Facebook says its machine learning tool has shut down more than 6 billion fake accounts in the past year. These accounts are in addition to the millions of accounts that Facebook does not allow to be created every day.

According to Facebook, their AI tool has been in the works for two years. This is the latest way to block fake accounts.
This tool uses a technology called Deep Entity Classification and analyzes active Facebook accounts.
In addition, this tool also monitors the behavior of individual Facebook profiles. This tool keeps track of thousands of activities such as sent friend requests, group joins or page likes. This AI tool also learns itself over time, which increases its efficiency.
